GX Simulator

A Bizerba Genesis-class device, simulated — no hardware required.

GXSim behaves like a real Bizerba GX weighing/labelling device on the GxNet TCP/IP protocol, so you can test and learn GxNet communication against BCS, Connect.Support or any other client — without physical Bizerba hardware. It imports a real device backup, animates a belt with packages crossing the scale and labeller, and sends the same telegrams a real device would.

The newest of the family — a full GxNet device in software, so the tools above can be tested and demonstrated without a physical scale on the bench.

What it does

• Speaks the GxNet TCP/IP protocol — same handshake, same commands
• Imports a Line Backup or Genesis.tcs backup as its dataset
• Animates a belt with packages crossing the scale and labeller
• Sends the same outgoing telegrams a real device does (PV01, PV04/PV05, PV07, totals, remote dialogs…)
• Test against BCS, Connect.Support, or any other GxNet client
• Run several named instances side by side (--name)
• Never touches live customer data — only sample/test values
